Sam Groves
Sam GrovesOwner · Coach

Sam is a co-owner and coach at Warehouse Fitness & Performance. He has coached at Warehouse for four years and has been part of the community since day one. His coaching roots go back to college track and field, where a love for the weight room and helping others ignited a career built around technique, strength, and purpose.

Certified in personal training, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and CPR and first aid. His coaching style is focused and direct: technique, weights, push yourself. He is passionate about helping members understand the why behind every movement, not just go through the motions.

Advice to first-timers: showing up is the hardest part. After that, regardless of the workout, you will be glad you made it. There will always be someone, a coach or a member, ready to help you along the way.

Brian DeGasperisCoach

Brian has been a member of Warehouse Fitness since 2019 and coaching since October 2021. His background covers sprinting and hurdling through high school, competitive bodybuilding, and getting into running during COVID.

His coaching style is straightforward: have fun, push yourself, and possibly contemplate life at some point. He loves watching a group get better together.

Advice to first-timers: you will hate it the whole time, and when you are done, you will want to do it again.

Melissa Kaufman
Melissa KaufmanCoach · Member Growth Coordinator

Mel has been part of the Warehouse Fitness community for three years. She played college sports, coached varsity athletics, and spent years leading others through athletics and business before bringing that same energy to the gym floor.

Her coaching style is positive, energetic, and encouraging, with a focus on strength training, beginner coaching, athlete mindset, and accountability. Outside the gym, she is raising five kids, working in real estate, and always planning the next family adventure.

Advice to first-timers: everyone had a first day. Show up, give your best effort, and know that every workout can be adjusted to meet you where you are. The hardest part is walking through the door.
